Daffodil
2023 A personal piece edited to Florence and the Machine's Daffodil. It follows the resurrection of a stone figure through layers of simulation including petals, cloth, moss growth, particles, and fluid forms, all working together to blur the line between decay and rebirth. Everything was built to feel like it’s breathing in time with the music, as the statue comes to life, blooms, and dissolves back into the forest floor. It’s less a literal narrative and more a visual crescendo, a ritual, a haunting, a loop of becoming.
